Q. CHINT built an intelligent manufacturing system with the help of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Could you brief our readers about this technology?
CHINT Response: Intelligent manufacturing is widely used in digital economy like online healthcare and education. It also plays a key part in CHINT’s production capacity and order delivery efficiency. As a smart energy solution provider, CHINT leverages intelligent manufacturing and digital technology through ‘One Cloud & Two Nets’ as business strategy. As the platform of intelligent technology and data application, CHINT Cloud fulfills digital applications and services both internal and external. Based on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), CHINT built an intelligent manufacturing system and realizes intelligent applications in electrical industry. Relying on the Energy Internet of Things (EIoT), CHINT built its smart energy system and develops the regional EIoT mode.
Q. Could you let us know about your business development to a wide range of areas? What hurdles have you faced during business expansion?
CHINT Response: India is the world’s third-largest electricity producer and fourth largest electricity consumer. CHINT has recently carried out a brand awareness program for Indian market, “Power for Empower”, for highly secured & technical products. This activity is focusing on electrical market to conduct research, display cutting-edge products and develop cooperative distributors. CHINT also unveiled its new Indian market strategy through warehouse establishment that enabled firm support for its customers and strengthen local retail network.
Q. How do you envision growth for your company for the next decade?
CHINT Response: India will be the manufacturing and supply center, product and marketing center, and after-sales and customer service center for global market in CHINT’s future blueprint. CHINT always has its long-term vision towards India market with development plans in stages. Started with Localto- Local supply & then eventually India will turn out to be supply center for neighboring APAC countries. CHINT has its major focus on localisation and creating values to our customers by setting up local supply chain centers in India.

CHINT Response: CHINT being a global player really looking at the futuristic solution in a significant step towards addressing climate change and promoting sustainable finance, Ms. Lily Zhang, President of CHINT Global, participated in the UN Global Compact CEO Roundtable on “Corporate Action on Climate and Sustainable Finance.” The roundtable was a part of the official agenda during the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations’ visit to China. Q. According to you, how Automation is rising in India and how it will impact the future in a positive way?
CHINT Response: Automation is the need of the hour in today’s fastest-growing business in India. As more companies adopt automation technology, they can streamline their processes and reduce the time required for manual labour. This will result in faster production times, higher quality products, and ultimately greater profitability.
Automation is seen as a major factor in India’s economic development. The country is currently at the forefront of technology and innovation, with several industries & infrastructure projects are being increasingly automated. On a long term basis, automation helps human race in reducing the repetitive type work and concentrate more on the creative jobs to add more value in the developing industrial revolutions.
Q. Which new model have you launched in circuit breaker? What are the key features of the new model?
CHINT Response: CHINT has always been committed to providing customers with superior products and solutions. To meet the customers, demand for higher performance in photovoltaic power generation and energy storage application, NM8N HV series moulded case circuit breaker have been developed which can operate up to rated voltage of 1150V AC with a maximum insulation voltage up to 1250V AC. With double make & break mechanism, NM8N HV can reliably protect electrical circuit systems by eliminating the occurrence of short-circuit currents within the system. The ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of this Product is 50kA at AC800V. NM8N HV series has been made the design of the arc extinguishing system more effectively. The complete specification of the Product can realize the breaking of circuit system with zero arcing with compact installation space of cabinet.
Q. What are the key features of Chint NXC AC Contactor? How is it different from Chint NC1 AC Contactor?
CHINT Response: The new NXC AC contactors feature a novel appearance and a compact structure. They are mainly used for frequent starts and control of AC motors as well as remote circuit making /breaking. They can also be combined with appropriate thermal overload relays to form electromagnetic starters. NXC contactors are more adaptable to wide ambient temperature ranges, also reliable with voltage fluctuations and carry wide band coils. The electrical & mechanical endurance are comparatively higher than NC1 series. These technical enhancements makes it more suitable for various critical applications such as irrigation / agriculture, construction sites & industries.
Q. What are the key features of Chint JD-5 Integrated Protector Relay? What inspire you to make this product?
CHINT Response: CHINT has wide range of motor protection relays. JD-5 motor protector is mainly used for overload and phase-loss protection of continuous duty or non-continuous duty AC motor with AC frequency of 50Hz, rated insulation voltage below AC690V and rated operating current of 0.5A~400A. Protection is the basic requirement of any industrial motors to prevent damage to electrical motors, such as internal & external faults in the motor. CHINT JD-5 series serves the complete purpose of overload & single-phase protection ensuring the long life of the motor.
