MR. SHYAM RAVINDRA

Q.Could you brief us about the experience at “ETES”?

We have interesting developments for the power utility customer with the launch of continuous monitoring in Power Quality. We are also continuously innovating testing equipment to meet with the customer demands on safety measurements. Our solutions currently work well for all customers including Solar & EV. It is important to note with the safety standards released by CEA recently & we have launched fully functional equipment to fulfil the standards.

Q.Could you explain us about business development to a wide range of areas? What hurdles have you faced during business expansion?

We are expanding in a few segments for business development like Renewables, EV & Automation. We are also keenly working on the recent safety standards implemented by CEA & us have launched a wide solution for the recent safety regulations. One of the hurdles we face would be in educating the safety policies across the country & the need for such solutions. While expanding in such wide areas we continuously strive on innovative research & development as the key differentiator in our proposals to our customers & we love being challenged here.

Q.How do you envision growth for your company for the next 10 Years?

We are a 30-year-old group company with 10 years in India completed recently. We had humble beginnings & worked always in delivering to our customers expectations. We envision to be a leading T&M supplier in India in the next 10 years. Our current position suits our envision as we are already a trusted brand in the market. Sonel, shall be a brand of trust & we will strive our actions towards this goal.

Q.Which new product are you working on?

We are currently working on various portfolios, like testing solutions for Electromobility & Renewables. We have expanded our portfolio in Automation & Calibration in 2023. Since its in R&D, I can’t reveal details now. Would be happy to inform Electrical Mirror once its is launched to the market.

Q.Which new model have you launched in Electrical safety Measurement? What are the key features of the new model?

We have launched multi-function tester – MPI 540 PV. Generally, our MPI had a great sales numbers last quarter.

As per the safety guidelines from CEA, it is mandatory to evaluate the electrical installation as per existing guidelines in NEC 2023. We fulfilled this regulation using a single equipment. Yes, one equipment & it fulfils your “Verification” as per IS 732 & fulfils CEA guidelines. What is interesting here is, our solution was not only widely accepted, but we have also set the benchmark in the market already.

MPI 540PV fulfils 10 testing in one equipment & also includes complete Power quality solution. There is nothing like this in the market now & we are very exited with this launch.

Q.What are company hopes in 2023’s second half and 2024?

We certainly hope to reach our target numbers in sales & ensure the results to our investors. We have interesting developments with the utilities with the demand on various requirements. We have planned to introduce few solution w.r.t power quality and for sure this will help us to move ahead in our business development.
