Q- Please enlighten our readers about the vision and objective of Madhura Power Technologies Pvt Ltd!

We at Madhura Power Technologies provide Electro-mechanical parts & systems for Engines, Generating sets and DG Control panels. We have embarked on a journey to become a technology leader in this segment by continually bringing new sustainable technologies to this field. Our objective is to offer to our customers’ innovative products & state-of-the-art solutions and expand our customer base.

Q-Could you brief us about your business expansion to a wide range of areas?

We believe that expansion is necessary to survive in today’s competitive market. We wish to expand in areas where the industry is looking for solutions to improve product efficiency; meet statutory requirements and bring down ownership costs.

The Indian Diesel generator market (900+ million USD) is expected to rise @ 9% till 2030. While becoming a part of such an expansion program, the challenge is to meet stricter exhaust emission norms (CPCB IV+). In this field, we are offering novel solutions like electronic governing, controllers and exhaust emission products.

The market is driven by requirements such as automation (less human interface), remote monitoring through internet/mobile phone & standardisation. We add value by offering common solutions which can be used on a variety of brands, models & sizes of engines/generators.

In states like Delhi/NCR, there are restrictions on the usage of Diesel generators to cut down exhaust emission & improve air quality. We are now offering Dual-fuel kits for Diesel generators already in use. Our kit will facilitate generators to run on combination of gas & diesel, in 70:30 ratio.

Q-What kind of market opportunities do you see in an Indian Market?

The Indian Market is growing rapidly including the Diesel generator market which will touch 1800 million USD by 2030, in turn offering massive opportunities for all players. We foresee opportunities not only with OEMs but also in After-market & Retailing. After-sale support is important for non-OEM market where we have leverage. We, a 29-year-old organization with an All-India network; are in position to support our customers locally.

Q- How are the products and offerings of your company changing the scope of work for its customers?

Our OEM customers, viz. engine & generator manufacturers are receptive for changes in their scope to accommodate our products which are based on latest technologies. This benefits OEMs and also their customers/users.

Q- How do you envision growth for your company for the next five years and what are the future plans of your company?

We will grow substantially in next 5 years as we are offering stellar products with latest sustainable technology with engineering support and local services. To keep pace with the growth of the engine/generator industry, we are planning to expand in terms of manpower and also the distribution network.  We are excited to induct new products complimentary to the existing product range, based on customer requirements.

Q - What are the major achievement highlights of Madhura Power Technologies Private Limited in 2022? What are the company's hopes in 2023?

2022 was an eventful year for us. In 2022, we introduced Lovato, Italy make AMF and Synchronizing Generator Controllers, which has many features to meet industry demands. Additionally, we undertook many “Generating set retrofit” projects in which old Controllers & switch gear parts were replaced by new versions. Electronic speed governor (GAC) was introduced on new engines and applications. Our AC Alternator (LINZ, Italy) was introduced for Light tower applications. Our Electric Vehicle division was engaged in validating and supply of electronic components viz. DC-DC Converter, On-Board charger, E-pumps, E-Compressors, Powertrain. Based on this, it is safe to say that the last year was pivotal for us.

We hope that current trends of expansion in diesel engine industry continue and we are geared up with the finest technology products.
