Q. Can you share the origin story of Next Gen Equipment Pvt. Ltd. and how the company has evolved into a significant player in the power industry?
NEXT GEN equipment Pvt Ltd began its operation in 2009, it is ISO 9001-2015 certified organization with experience leadership and reliable international partner. Through a dual focus on high-precision equipment and reliable after-sales service, it has become a benchmark in India’s transformer and electrical testing industry.
We are representing premium international brands— including Raytech (Switzerland), EPRO Gallspach (Austria), ETL Prüftechnik (Germany), and Isofarad Ltd. (Hungary). These partnerships enables bringing globally advanced, high accuracy tools to the Indian and PAN Asia market. Our focus is not only on Quality, reliability, accuracy and repeatability of result while selecting the companies for T& M solution but also after sales services of these equipment.
Q. Could you elaborate on the primary markets you serve across India and the Pan-Asian region, and what opportunities and challenges you face while executing overseas projects?
NGEPL’s strength lies in combining worldclass European testing technology with locally responsive service, enabling it to serve both Indian and Pan Asian Market. We have strong domestic presence, deep penetration in Indian power market, also having presence in Bangladesh , Sri Lanka and Nepal. To execute the projects in MENA region, we have opened new office in Dubai through our subsidiary company “Smart Vision” to serve UAE , Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, this will help us reduce the delivery time in MENA region and reduce the service TAT.
The key challenges we face include cost pressures due to changing Forex market, Logistics and regulatory complexity due to internal conflict in neighbouring countries in Asian market and MENA region as well.
Q. Can you discuss the impact of your strategic collaborations with international partners and how they have contributed to your strong presence in the Indian power sector?
We have added innovative products in our portfolio, Raytech new Transformer Analyser is Proving to be a new buzz in the market due to its Portability, accuracy of result and reliability. Also RAYTECH C & Tan Delta for Transformers testing is already established in Indian market for unique design, portability, reliability and accuracy of test result. Almost entire transformer fraternity is already using our state of Art Tan Delta Test Set in India & neighbouring Countries. We have also added a new INSULATION TEST TAN DELTA for SOLID INSULANTS from EPRO Austria. Measurement of Tan Delta of Solid insulants under controlled temperature and pressure is unique feature of our products. Also Highly accurate CT & PT from EPRO is unmatchable in the industry. There is growing requirement of PD Testing in the industry and requirement of high quality HV & LV Filters for accurate measurement and with ISOFARAD Innovative T - Filters & PI- Filters, we have got a great success in Indian market. Also highly accurate PD Free Voltage Dividers upto 1200 KV is available in our portfolio. ETL from Germany has also got a very good acceptance in the Indian market and with growing focus on EV’s where a lot of battery is going to be used, ETL HV Tester has got a very good acceptance in the companies like EXIDE, AMARA Raja etc. ETL High Voltage Testers are also widely accepted in the Indian Switchgear Industry.
Q. What major trends do you foresee shaping the future of the power industry, and how is your company preparing to lead and adapt in this evolving landscape?
The Indian power sector is poised for significant transformation, driven by the transition to green energy, increasing power demand, and the integration upgradation of digital technologies in power sector. Our international partners are aligned with these development and invested heavily to develop product which catered the need of T& M product in Power sector , renewable energy, smart grids, and energy efficient transformers. The equipment having built-in features of auto upgradation of software as per changing market requirement , remote testing and testing across countries without any major changes is key features.
Our partners are always opened for feedback to develop the product as per changing market requirement and customer feedback . Regular training by internation partner to upskill India India the existing sales and service staff to adopt new technologies, which will further translate in to better customer experience.
Q. Looking forward, what are the company’s key priorities regarding product innovation, export growth, and reinforcing your leadership position in the industry?
To achieve the growth, we have been adding different products that complementing our product portfolio to provide one stop solution to our customers. We are thrilled to announced that 60% of transformers and 90% of industrial batteries produced in India are tested by our T& M equipment’s . We are proud to say that our 100% units supplied in last 15 years are in use and have the same accuracy and repeatability of results even after more than 15 years of operation.
As mentioned earlier , our focus is just not limited to Asia -Pacific region but also the MENA region, Our Dubai office will facilitate to explore new territories to enhance our growth targets . Our focus is not only sales but also after sales service of the product for better customer experience, we have separate after sales service vertical for better support and timely solution to the customer. We will keep on adding.
